Pink Shirt Day Colouring

Today im going to be telling you about my pink shirt day colouring. In school we had to make two colouring pieces to win house points. I've only done one and still haven't finished. On the t-shirt one you had to do a front and a back and add a quote on both sides. I haven't finished the back side yet. Here is my work.

Today im going to tell you about the crossword my class are doing. On my teachers site she put a slide with a few words on it. On the crossword site that she linked we had to write the words down with the definition of what they mean. Or you could make a kahoot about what the words mean. I did the crossword though.

Cartoon Features

 Hello readers!

Today i'm going to tell you about what were doing in art class. In art class we were set a blank piece of paper and a few random pieces of papers of people and animals and features. Then we had to glue random pieces on the blank piece of paper and BOOM! Masterpiece.

This master piece is about a girl going shopping without a mask on so someone else yelled at her the end.

Today's blog is about Parihaka, something we've been working on this week. 

Here is the story. 

The government confiscated land. Te Whiti set up a village at Parihaka. Taranaki trpibes fought the government to try to keep their land. Parihaka ploughmen up the farms of settlers. government troops arrested Te Whiti and Tohu.

Geometry

 Hello Grandmas and Grandpas. Today i'm going to be telling you about what we are learning about this week. This week we are learning about geometry. Geometry is technically just shapes in 1D, 2D, 3D and 4D. But this week all we learned about was 2D. 

All we had to do this week was copy what was off the board. Of course we did learn some stuff but not a lot. We learnt about different shapes, how many side and how many angles they have. On the right we always have to do the writing and on the left we do the drawing. Here is my work.

Name Bugs

Hello Grandmas and Grandpas!

Today i'm going to talk to you about NAME BUGS! Let me tell you what they are first. Then I'll tell you how to make it. 

It's where you write your name down but you connect all the letters together. Then you do it on the other side of the page, and after you should have your own weird bug. You give it eyes and add little details and BOOM! Done!

To make it all, you will need is either a book or a piece of paper. First you will have to fold the piece of paper in half and then write  your name down, but all the letters are together. After that, you turn the page over to the other side and go up to a window and re write it on the other side.

Now that I have told what it is and how to make it.  Here is my beautiful work.

Lab Equipment

 Hello Grandmas and Grandpas today i'm telling you what the equipment you will need in a lab. This is really important to know. Of course i'm doing this because i'm in science now. Here is the equipment.  

• Test tube.

Use: To do any experiments. 

•  beaker. 

Use: They help to measure any chemicals or liquids.  

• Conical Flask. 

Use: Has a thinner neck to boil liquids and has measurements on the side. 

• Bunsen Burner

Use: They are used for boiling or heating things. They are also used with gas, heatproof mat, tripod and gauze mat.

Laboratory Rules

 Hello grandmas and grandpas today i'm telling you about laboratory rules. The reason how I know these rules is because I have science class now. 

• Do NOT run in the Science Lab. 
• Do NOT eat or drink in the Science Lab. 
• Be sensible in the Science Lab. 
• Put your bag under the desks in the Science Lab. 
• Do NOT taste anything you are unsure of in the Science Lab. 
• Listen to the teachers if you are in the Science Lab.
