EOTC

 Hello readers, its me Shylah of course. Today i'm going to be telling you about what we did for EOTC week. EOTC stands for Education Outside The Classroom. It mostly just means we go out and have fun for a week. All the activites we did last week was. Orana Park, Quail Island, Surfing, Clip'nClimb and then Hot pools. My favourite thing that we did was probably Surfing and hot pools.

Normally at the start of the day everyone would have to go to the gym but if it was a swimming day then we would have to go in the bathroom and put your togs on underneath. Finally after a little chat in the gym we would go on the bus. Most of the time I was on the bus I was probably with Santannah (My friend).  After the bus we would start our activities. Then we all go back on the bus back to school. 

But the main thing im going to be talking about is when we went surfing. Surfing was very fun because we also had fish'n'chips for lunch. But the only bad thing about the surfing is that when I had to walk home it was raining and I had wet clothes on. IT WAS THE WORST. But surfing was still really fun.

On the bus me and Santannah were trying to find people in the future. So when we would pick someone and the person that would stop next to us on the bus was that person. The funniest is that Talisa was going to be a truck driver.

Fun Run

 Hello, readers today I'm going to be talking to you about the Fun Run. If you don't know what the Fun Run is then your in luck because I'm here to tell you. 

Fun Run is what we did to help Kids Can. We all raised up as much money as we can and if you pay $10 or up to $1000 you could get a pretty cool prize. The prizes on there are pretty cool. But you could only pick one prize that was in between your limit. I didn't raise any money but thats okay. But theres also other things that you do on the Fun Run. There is actually a Run that you do on the Fun Run. All of the teachers in our school squirt us with water guns while we go trough all the obstacles. We do the Fun Run at Kyle Park. Okay now that you know what the Fun Run is let me tell you about what obstacles we had.

The first thing we had to do was run around the top bit of Kyle Park twice. After you do that you slide through a water slide to the bottom of the hill. Then you go under the rope thing, people will be holding the rope and toughing it up and down. After the rope you go up and down through these hurdles. Then you run through this bouncy castle it was very dirty through. Finally you run toward the end while people are through wet sponges at you and then boom your jumping through tyres and done.

But thats not the end we also had a best dressed class competition. Our class just wore squirts and bows and it was fun. We made them ourselves to so. Anyways we didn't win but that was fine because we won in my heart.  

   

I really enjoyed the Fun Run but it wasn't the best because I hated getting wet. But its better then doing work I guess. I hope you enjoyed this blog and have a nice weekend. Bye readers!            

This Weeks Spelling.

 Hello readers, today i'm going to be talking to you about my spelling. I haven't done this weeks spelling but I can show you last weeks spelling. Your probably wondering what spelling is, so I will tell you. At the start of the term we have to do a spelling test and it is really easy. I made it up to the last group because I'm really smart. After we do the spelling our teacher gives us this document of random activities to do. Now I can show you my spelling. The activity I'm going to be showing is something that's is very boring. Here you go.

Back To Swimming

Hello readers, today I'm going to be telling you about swimming. We have started swimming on Monday and I don't enjoy it. I hate swimming! Before we go swimming we have our morning tea early. Because we are the first class that goes swimming. Yesterday I had a sandwich for lunch. It was okay. When the bell rang for the other classes to go eat food it was our time to play. We played volleyball at morning tea. When the bell rang again it was time to go swimming I wasn't excited. We all lined up for the bus and waited for everyone to come. 

On the bus I sat with Santannah. We played a random game, someone had to pick ANY number and the other player would say how much stuff they would have in the future. Like I would think in my head "What ever number she picks that's how many pets she will have." So then I would ask her. "Pick a number." Which she chose 1. So she will have 1 pet. 

After the bus ride it was time to go swimming. First we got into our togs and had a shower. After the shower we finally went swimming. First thing we did was normal bubble and breath. It was very boring. Second thing we did was normal kicking. Third thing we did was kick backwards. Then we did Swimming backwards. Finally this was the hardest bit. We did something we never learned, it was this butterfly thing. This is a photo of me before swimming. 

After we changed from our togs to our school uniform we went on the bus back to school. On the way back I sat next to Kushla. We were just talking about really weird dumb things. After we got back to school we thanked the bus driver and left to class.

Flowers

 Hello readers, today im going to be talking about the flower peoms we had to make. So for this composition thingy we had to draw flowers and random other stuff. But today im talking about flower poems. Flower poems are horrible (to me.) Anyways I didn't really enjoy it. Miss Scott (My teacher) said that we had to do three poems. But you didn't get to pick the poems and that's sad. The poems we had to do was Haiku, Cinquain and Quatrain. My favourite was Haiku because its easy. I didn't finish all my poems but I did finish two so here is my two poems. 

Haiku: sunflower

Bright golden petals. 

Summer time out in the sun. 

The breeze blows my face. 

Cinquain: Lilies. 

Colourful lilies. 5

Blooming and springing up. 

The scene of amazing chicken.  

Flowers.

Buddy class was boring.

 Hello readers, today im going to be talking to you about buddy class. Buddy class is when you go to your buddy's class and play with your buddy. Today we had buddy class and all we had to do was teach our buddy's how to play the games. 

We walked to the class and sat with our buddy's. I couldn't find my buddy so I just stood up to get a new one. My buddy was pretty shy. The first game we played was pop up pirate we played it with Talisa and her buddy. I was the color yellow, Talisa was the color green, her buddy was the color red and my buddy's color was blue. 

Then Talisa's buddy ran away and we started organizing a beautiful game. It was called Shipwreck you might of hear of it. Anyway after organizing we played the actual game and so much fun. But it ended quickly to badly and Talisa hit bombed my ship. But I got rid of her ship.

…gradually, things started to move…

 Hello readers, today im gonna be showing you my 100 word count. I have done plenty of these because sometimes I get a bit lazy. If you dont what "100 word count" is then I will tell you. 

100 word count is when you get a set of words or maybe even a sentance. Once you got a sentance or set of words and you make a story with it that has 100 words. Of course my ones are always 100 words.

So my story had to have the sentance "Gradually, things started to move." It was pretty hard but of course because im the master of it I can make the story's easy. Anyways here is my story. 

Hi my name is Dwane and I love dancing. Right now i'm in primary school. “I should probably head to class.” I ran to class but came late. “Why were you late?” Said the teacher Miss Scott angrily. “What?” I said. I sat down on the mat next to this girl called Talisa. She's very annoying. It was time for reading. The girl sat next to me and said “Hey Dwane can I see one of your dances?” She said laughing. I stood and danced my cool hip new dance moves I learned at home. Gradually, things started to move...

Rip and make

Hello readers, today we had taskmaster. Taskmaster is when you go in a group and do activities. Today we got to change our group. If you didn't want to change your group then you could just sit with your partners. If you didn't sit with your partners then you don't wanna be partners.

I sat with my group, Tiana and Esha. But Tiana didn't want to be a group with us. She was saying to Miss Scott that she wanted to change but Miss Scott couldn't hear. So then I said to Miss Scott me and Tiana wanted to change. I asked Talisa if I could go in her group but she would reply. Because then Tiana asked to go in their group. But I did.

The activity we had to do was rip a hole in a piece of paper. and make a picture out of it At first Talisa thought of making a circle but Miss Scott said it had to be something cool not a shape. So we did a person. The person actually looks like a broccoli but we just said it was a dancing person with a Afro. After it was time to put our pictures in the middle. We actually won I think.
