Hey Grandmas and Grandpas, today i'm telling you about my Blog Prep Heroes. Blog Prep Heroes is like just explaining everything you learned and everything you know about heroes. We also told a story about our own hero. Its hard to explain so just read it.
In Nga Tangata, Hurumanu 1 we studied the lives of some local, national and international Heroes.
A hero is a male or female or group of people who save others or take their lives at risk to save other
lives. They also are very special characters to society. Most of them have power and confidence.
I made slides about 6 sporting heroes. They were. Richie McCaw, Louisa Wall, Valerie Adams,
Sir Peter Blake, Sarah Hudges, Ted Williams.
I also made some slides about a local hero who helped lots of people with diabetes in Christchurch.
He was called Professor Beavan. He committed full time just to learn how to help people of need with
diabetes.
We read about a musical group called the Crowded House. They were said to be “heroes for one day!”
When they performed in Christchurch recently.
We discussed the meaning of “hero worship”. The hero I “worship” is my dad because he spends all
the time when he comes home just to help me with my hunger.
Earthquakes heroes I researched were, Andrea Robinson Andrew Anderson, Anja Hanson, Ashley M
Vickers, Ber Salter, Blair corkran, Campbell D Watt. They will always be heroes.
I also wrote about myself as a superhero. My alias was Thicky Nicky.
Here is my story: She was born in a toilet in 1985 and was a slave to all men. The reason she is a hero
is because she saved 2000 people from a campfire and was freed. She died in 2017 from skin cancer.
Thank you for reading my blog and I hope you have a nice day. Also always be nice others!
Bye Grandmas and Grandpas!
