Facts about the instruments

In class we have been learning about musical instruments. Like the Ukulele, Recorder, Orchestra and violin. Today i'm gonna talk to you about my facts that I found out. I'm only going to be showing you the violin, orchestra and recorder. Here is my beautiful work. Also make sure to leave a comment! 


  1. The violin has been here for at least 500 years. 

  2. Playing violin actually burns 170 calories an hour!

  3. Violins are typically made out of spruce wood or maple wood

  4. Violins come in different sizes depending on your left arm size.

  5. Violins are very complex.

  6. Violins are part of the strings family. 

  7. The smaller the violin the high pitcher the sound. 

  8. The violin has 4 strings

  9. The violin has 51 different notes!

  10.  Violin is actually very important in the instrument community. 

  11. The bow is made out of house hair. 

  12. The violin was made in the 16th century. 


orchestra

  1. An Orchestra is a group of instruments. 

  2. The real name of orchestra is symphony orchestra. 

  3. There are two different orchestras that are called “Chamber Orchestras.” and 

  4. “Symphony Orchestras.”

  5. The orchestra was made in the early 17th century. 

  6. The most important instrument in the orchestra is the violin.

  7. There's 100 musicians in an orchestra.

  8. The person that gets paid the most in an orchestra is a concertmaster. 

  9.  You get paid for being in an orchestra.

  10. The name for the conductor's stick is called a baton

  11. The person who made the orchestra is called Claudio Monteverdi

  12. There are three different types of the orchestra.



recorder

 

Today I learnt about the recorder. 

I learnt all the different letters about the recorder.

I learnt the music notes. 

I learned that if you blow too hard on the recorder it will make a squeaking noise and it will hurt your ears.

I learnt 3 new notes.

A recorder has 3 parts of it.

Part of the woodwind family.
